8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Wow, to capture the thoughts of just one day, huh? I think about my health, my husband, my kids, my job, my small group, bills, groceries, and lack of time to get it all in. Oh yeah, how am I connecting with God today? Would others look at me and see that I have Jesus in my heart?
ReplyDeleteOverall, I'd say my thought life is healthy, although there are a few days that I feel like a complete failure. I have done better at not being a worry-er, but more of a "surrender it all to God" -er. Enormous freedom in doing that.
The biggest message I've received from Philippians is perseverance I suppose. Even in Paul's hardest times, he still has eternity in his mind and heart. And he wants to share the good news with everyone.
