10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

~ What does it mean to participate in Christ suffering? How has this suffering affected you?
God's power has been revealed to me in both the little moments of my life when things that are seemingly coincidental (but I know better) and then again at the huge moments of my life like during the birth of my children. I am extremely thankful and in awe of it. Words truly can not express or full captivate the experience.
ReplyDeleteI think to participate in Christ's suffering is to go even beyond just knowing the what the Word says. To witness it perhaps (as in watching Passion of the Christ) and then also courageously walking in the name of Jesus even though you maybe persecuted for your belief.
